An Air Jordan 11 is being auctioned off for $2,500 after a South Carolina woman sold it for $5,000 after it split her hair.
According to the Carolina Gazette, Michelle Denton posted the auction for the Air Jordan 2 on Tuesday and posted pictures of the sale.
She had two strands of hair, one from her left shoulder and one from the back of her head.
Denton said the sale of the Air Jordans 11 and 11 Retro will be auctioned this Saturday at the Atlanta Mall.
She said she was able to get a good price for her hair as the two strands were split.
Dentons original Air Jordan 10 and 10 Retro, which was cut in her father’s style, sold for over $6,000 at a Georgia garage sale.
Dents sister was also able to sell the Air Jordans 11, which is split in two halves, for $7,500.
Donta Denton told ABC News that she had a deal with the seller, who was happy to see the two split, and it was the right thing to do.
She said she’s hoping to buy another pair for her daughter.
